Jiri-Everest Base Camp Trekking

Jiri Everest trek is famous for the Sherpas and other ethnic groups. You learn to know the life style of their villages and see their culture. Trekking in this area varies from five days trekking to month long. Everest Base Camp Kalapathar and Gokyo lake treks are very popular. Fabulous sceneries and the social life of Sherpa villages are another attraction of this region. Further attraction is Sagarmatha National Park for those people who are interested in the wildlife. The route passes through spectacular forests of blooming rhododendron in March-April Trekking in Everest region is breathtaking and requires a good walking experience and a good physical health condition. This trek is a very interesting walking with its panoramic view of Everest (8848m), Cho Oyu (8152m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8463m) and Ama Dablam (6456m). Through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar we reach Tengboche Buddhist Monastery, Khunde, Khumjung etc. We pass through settlement of mixed ethnic groups like Brahman, Chhetri, Magar and Tamang in the lower region and Sherpa villages in the highland of Solukhumbu Everest region.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu, half-day sightseeing and necessary preparation for the trek.
Day 03: Kathmandu - Jiri by bus and overnight at tea - house lodges.
Day 04: Trek to Shivalaya (1750m)
Day 05: Trek to Bandar (2200m)
Day 06: Trek to Sete (2600m)
Day 07: Trek to Junbesi (2700m) through the Lamjura Pass (3530m)
Day 08: Trek to Manedingma (2250m) thru Tragsindo Pass (3070M)
Day 09: Trek to Poyan (2800m)
Day 10: Trek to Phakding (2600m)
Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazar (3450m)
Day 12: Excursion Thame Monastery and back to Namche Bazar
Day 13: Trek to Khumjung (3800m)
Day 14: Trek to Dole (4000m)

Day 17: Trek to Gokyo (4750m)

Day 23: Excursion Everest BC (5500m) and back to Lobuche (4600m)
Day 24: Trek to Pangboche (3980m)
Day 25: Trek to Namche Bazar (3400m)
Day 26: Trek to Lukla (2800m)
Day 27: Lukla - Kathmandu by flight and transfer to hotel and free day.
Day 28: Kathmandu free day for shopping.
Day 29: Transfert Airport for your flight back
